Explore Your World: New Approaches to the Colonial Era in the Americas In-Person / Online

Explore Your World is a six week mini-course.

The history of North American colonization was much more than just the story of conquest. It was more than just the Pilgrims and Jamestown. Let’s explore the many stories of the colonial era: the role environmental factors played in colonization, the realities of piracy, and the various experiences of Indigenous Americans, the Spanish, the French, and the English.

Presented by Professor Angie Kirby-Calder of Drew University. In-person at the Liss Meeting Room for those who wish to participate in the discussion AND via Zoom for those who wish to observe. Funding for this lecture series is made possible by the Manley-Winser Memorial Fund.
