Chinese corner is an informal immersion program for Children who speak Chinese. 

, known as Hanzi, are among the world’s oldest writing systems, with origins tracing back over 3,000 years. They began as pictographs simple drawings representing objects or concepts and evolved into more abstract forms over time. This evolution led to the complex and rich writing system used today.

In this lesson, we will explore the history and development of Hanzi, examining how early pictographs transformed into modern characters. We will also delve into the various methods used to convey meaning and sound in Chinese writing.

This lesson aims to provide a deeper understanding of the rich history and cultural significance of Chinese characters..
