Join us for an informal monthly Chinese Immersion program at Summit Free Public Library

November 9: East Meets West: Weapons in History

Through funny comics, we’ll journey through the evolution of Western weapons—shaped by European history, religion, architecture, and epic battles. From swords and armor to castles and early firearms, we’ll see how they compare with traditional Chinese weapons in design, use, and cultural meaning. Learn world history, practice Chinese, and have a laugh along the way!
