George Washington, New Jersey, and the Revolutionary War In-Person

George Washington was certainly central to The Revolutionary War. In many ways, so was New Jersey. This lecture looks at both George Washington’s military career starting in 1754 as a 21 year old major in the Virginia militia, and a history of the Revolutionary War including the military battles and winter encampments in New Jersey. Presenter: Joel Farkas, volunteer docent and tour guide for the National Park Service at Washington's Headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey.
