“ASK” the Experts about Senior Services
The Union County Division on Aging and Disability Resource Connection will bring their Aging Services Kiosk (ASK) to the Summit Library on Mondays, June 25, August 27 and October 29 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Summit residents seeking information about services for seniors age 60 and older can receive advice and information about home delivered meals, respite care, home care, adult day care support services for caregivers, and more. The ASK program also enables residents to obtain assistance with completing applications. Assistance is given on a one-to-one basis and is available in English and Spanish.
Freeholder Bette Jane Kowalski, who is the Freeholder Board liaison to the Human Services Advisory Board said. “The ASK program gives you a chance to discuss your situation with our experienced staff, and learn about resources available to help you.”
