Every Monday morning, stop by the library and pick up a craft to take home and make. We may make the crafts together, or you can make them on your own. Post them on your social media with a hashtag of #summitplcrafts.  

6/15: Volunteer Crafts:  Color a smile
Take home a craft kit with some Color A Smile coloring pages.  Use crayons, markers, and colored pencils to color in your works.  You can send them directly to Color A Smile when you are done. 
6/22: Paint Kits
Take a rainbow kit of paints home with you.  Not sure what to paint? Join us on June 24 for our online painting party
6:29: Beaded keychains
Take home a kit to make a woven beaded keychain critter
7/6: LED Lightsabers
Learn how to make an LED Lightsaber with the items provided.  Not sure how to do it?  We will be making them together as a group on July 8
7/13: Plastic Weaving Keychains
All of the supplies you need to make a traditional lanyard! We will be trading our designs, and learning to make them on July 22
7/20: Paracord
All of the material you will need to make a paracord bracelet.  We will learn how to make these on Wednesday, July 22
7/27: Origami
Take home some traditional origami paper.  We will also have some links for video tutorials.
8/3: Jewelry Making Kit
Make some easy jewelry with the library's supplies.  A video tutorial will be provided.
8/10: Perler Bead Designs
This week, we will have perler beads and templates for you to make your own creation.  All you need is an iron to seal it.  Need some ideas? We will include some sample creations for you to be inspired
8/17: Zine Making Kit
Take home some library craft supplies to make your own homemade zine of artwork and writings.  You can also participate in the library's summer zine, by submitting some art and short stories to teens@summitlibrary.org
