Intermediate Science, Engineering, Tech, and Art Activities for older children in Grades 4 and up.

June 16: Giant kahoot: Join us for an in-person and online giant kahoot game. We'll have a ton of different questions, but will also feature facts about water and oceans. The top three winners will receive a grab bag of prizes.

June 23: Eyes of the wild: Located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, Eyes of the Wild houses and cares for over one hundred animals. Exotic animals, such as sugar gliders, Bennett's wallabies, and prehensile tail porcupines, as well as native animals - rabbits, skunks, and doves - occupy our facilities. Our presenters travel all over the northeast to educate children, teens, adults, and seniors about the animals on our planet and how to make sure that we can keep sharing it with them. Come and join us for an exciting live animal show featuring all different kinds of animals

June 30: Liquid Science: Create a biodegradable water pod in a group. Let's also do messy art projects outside on the front lawn. Bring an old T-shirt to do some sharpie tie dye too.

July 7:  Lego Club: Sunken Cities: Design a submersible Lego cityscape in a clear plastic container, and put it on display over the summer

July 14: Anglerfish Paper circuit: Learn to make a paper circuit, and make a glowing anglerfish.

July 21: Orbeez Crafts: Make a stress ball, an LED Lantern and other crafts featuring Orbeez water beads

July 28:  Engineering Challenges: Build a structure that can withstand the wind of a hurricane or the shake of an earthquake

August 4: RoboThink Robotics Workshop: Build wacky contraptions, learn engineering and have fun! No previous experience required. Sponsored by the Friends of the Summit Free Public Library.

August 11: Let's Make Movies: Make stop motion animation on a water theme; take videos and photos in front of the Green Screen in the Think It Lab.
