Sew It! By Hand: How to Make a Face Mask In-Person

Learn to sew a cloth face mask for yourself, your family and/or your friends by hand!

NO SEWING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

All you need is a needle and thread and a few things that you probably have around the house. Join us for a virtual hand sewing workshop with Ellen Lumpkin Brown. She will guide you through all of the steps to stitch a sturdy and stylish mask! Masks are now required in supermarkets and other public places. And they will keep us all healthier by reducing the germs that we put into the air.

This workshop will take place online, through Zoom. Visit zoom.us to download the Zoom client onto your computer, or get the app for your smartphone or tablet. It is open to kids ages 9+, teens, and adults. This is a repeat of the workshop on May 1 @ 5:00 PM. Please don't register for both sessions.

Register now! Space is limited and registration is required.
